Thyme

A perennial herb from the mint family. Most common variety is garden thyme with gray-green leaves and a pungent minty, light-lemon aroma. Thyme leaves are curled, elliptically shaped and very small, measuring about one-eighth of an inch long and one-sixteenth of an inch wide. The upper leaf is green-grey in color on top, while the underside is a whitish color.

A delicate looking herb grown with utter care in Himalayan ranges in totally pollution free and organic atmosphere has penetrating fragrance. Thyme is a wonderful addition to bean, egg and vegetable dishes. Both fresh and dried thyme is available in bulk quantities.

Rosemary

Rosemary is used for digestion problems, including heartburn, intestinal gas , liver and gallbladder complaints, and loss of appetite. It is also used forgout, cough, headache, high blood pressure, and reducing age-related memory loss.

Some women use rosemary for increasing menstrual flow and causing abortions. Rosemary is used topically (applied to the skin) for preventing and treating baldness; and treating circulation problems, toothache, a skin condition called eczema, and joint or muscle pain such as myalgia, sciatica, and intercostal neuralgia. It is also used for wound healing, in bath therapy (balneotherapy), and as an insect repellent. In foods, rosemary is used as a spice. The leaf and oil are used in foods, and the oil is used in beverages. In manufacturing, rosemary oil is used as a fragrant component in soaps and perfumes.

Black Turmuric

Black Turmeric is a perennial herb native to North- East and Central India. It have been identified and used from ages for medicinal purpose. It is effective in curing Asthma, Bronchitis and even Cancer.

However, there is a very interesting myth regarding it. It is believed that Black Turmeric have magical powers which can keep the evil spirit away.
